Next month, RUSI launches a new research programme that will analyse trends in defence industries and relevant technological innovations, and seek to promote wider understanding of the relationship between government and the industry as a whole.
As Britain’s oldest surviving think-tank, RUSI has long sought to bridge the gulf between government intent and public understanding. The new Defence Industries and Societies programme continues this tradition, seeking to make what is usually the preserve of politically or financially involved parties accessible to a much wider audience.
