Overview
Current geopolitical challenges, including Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine and the conflict in the Middle East, have reinforced the inexorable link between national security and the preservation of the existing multilateral system and international legal order.
In his address, Lord Hermer will discuss the condition of the international-rules-based-order in 2025, as well as the intersection between national security and international law.
The lecture will be moderated by The Rt Hon Lord Parker of Minsmere GCVO KCB PC, RUSI Distinguished Fellow and former Director General of the Security Service (MI5).
