Overview

RUSI invites you to a debate exploring the proposition that maritime warfare is undergoing a fundamental transformation. As emerging technologies – from autonomous systems and uncrewed platforms to AI-driven decision-making and novel weapons – challenge traditional concepts of naval power, our debate will assess whether these developments constitute a true revolution in warfare or a more incremental evolution.

Join leading voices from the academic, industrial and military communities as they examine whether the character of war at sea is set for a profound change.

The debate will be followed by a reception and an opportunity to continue the discussion informally.
