The Israel-Hamas War: Implications for the Middle East and Beyond

The terrorist attack committed by Hamas against Israel on 7 October has opened a new chapter in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and is set to reshape the geopolitics of the Middle East. The panel will discuss the ongoing war in Gaza, the potential for wider regional escalation, medium and long-term implications for regional stability, and UK/Western interests in the Middle East.
