The criminal justice response to terrorism is a thread that has run through Max Hill’s career. From 2003 to 2017 he prosecuted a range of high-profile terrorism cases, including the July 2005 London bombings. Most recently, he has led the prosecutorial response to terrorism during his five years as DPP.

Mr Hill will explore how the response to both international and domestic terrorism has evolved over two decades, as well as reflecting on the prosecution of terrorism during his tenure at the Crown Prosecution Service.

The conversation will be moderated by Suzanne Raine, RUSI Trustee and former Head of the UK Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre.
