RUSI and France’s École de Guerre have collaborated over the past seven years, aiming to apply intellectual rigour in answering the most critical questions facing militaries today. RUSI’s Military Sciences research group supports students worldwide during their professional military education.
In this annual Christmas debate, RUSI Military Sciences experts and associates will join forces with officers from École de Guerre to debate the motion:
This House believes that the West is learning the wrong lessons about deterrence in Ukraine.
Chaired by Emilie Cleret, Director of English Studies for French Senior Professional Military Education, you are invited to watch what is sure to be a lively session, aiming to answer one of the most critical questions facing militaries today.
The debate will run for one hour, followed by drinks and nibbles.
