RUSI NextGen: In Conversation with Lucy Fisher

This series of events is focused on questions of ethical leadership, celebrating successes in classified work environments, and the leadership skills needed in the security and defence sector. The partnership will stage a number of webinars and an in-person event in the coming months.

The second webinar is taking place on Tuesday, 16 January 2024, with Lucy Fisher, Whitehall Editor at the Financial Times. Lucy will be in conversation with an Aspen UK Rising Leader. This event will take a deep dive into the world of ethics in journalism, and how to navigate the potential conflicts between success and ethics.

Attendees will be given the chance to ask questions throughout the session and will gain a unique insight into how leadership decisions are made in highly pressurised environments.

Future events in this series will include an in-person event at RUSI’s home on Whitehall in March 2024. More details including dates and speakers will be announced soon.
