Alongside our research, RUSI's Leadership Centre offers bespoke education programmes for practitioners and researchers working in foreign service, national security and the private sector.
For over a decade, the Leadership Centre has worked with a variety of UK-based and international entities such as foreign and defence ministries as well as private companies. Initially focused on our flagship diplomatic training course, we have since expanded beyond this to offer a variety of strategic analysis courses that are tailored to the specific needs and experience of participants.
These include multi-week immersive training courses that equip government and military officials with the foundational analytical and strategic tools needed throughout their career, as well as shorter, high-level workshops that refresh senior executives’ strategic planning capabilities. Leadership Centre programmes may be further refined to cater to the sector-specific requirements of participants, including but not limited to military officials, diplomats and intelligence analysts.
Courses are typically held at RUSI’s headquarters in Whitehall, London, but alternative arrangements such as on-site or virtual delivery are available. All courses provide certificates of completion.
