About the Speaker
Ms Stefanie Beck was appointed to her current role in June 2024. She previously served as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (February 2023 to June 2024) and Associate Deputy Minister for National Defence (January 2022 to February 2023). She joined the Government of Canada in 1990, working abroad in several diplomatic missions, including as Deputy High Commissioner to the UK (October 2020 to January 2022).
