Overview

With peace talks and the future of European security dominating the international agenda, the war in Ukraine – raging for more than three years at the eastern border of Hungary – an ongoing conflict in the Middle East, and the great powers’ attention shifting towards the Indo-Pacific, foreign and security policy challenges are increasing for Europe. Central European countries have valued perspectives on the effects these challenges pose and on the new Trump administration’s influence on the world order.

His Excellency Péter Szijjártó will discuss Europe and the future of the great powers, and talk about the challenges from migration to economic security, including energy security and connectivity, through the lens of Central Europe.
