Overview

Earlier this year the RUSI library ran it’s first set of volunteer days. They proved to be very successful and we are now running new sessions.

Each session runs from 11:00 until 16:00 and tasks include classifying books, cataloguing rare books, organising collections and transcribing items in our archive. No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm! There are 20 spaces per session and previous volunteers have found this a great way to meet other members and make new connections whilst learning new skills.

If you are a member of RUSI and would like to volunteer press the button to sign up at which point you can indicate which days you are available to assist us.

Each session will have a 1 hour lunch break from 13:00 - 14:00 where you can either bring your own lunch or get something from one of the nearby establishments.

There will also be a break at 15:00 where biscuits, tea and coffee is provided.
