The Future Leaders in Illicit Finance Forum and RUSI NextGen are delighted to join forces for this unique event on investigative journalism in the financial sector.  

The event will explore the opportunities and challenges involved in investigating and reporting on financial crime. It invites senior professionals from different media outlets to discuss their own experiences and provide useful insights to young professionals who are at the beginning of their careers. Following a moderated discussion with the panellists, participants will have the chance to chat with the speakers.  

This event is the fourth in a series organised by the Centre for Finance and Security at RUSI in partnership with organisations from the public and private sector, aiming to look at a career in fighting illicit finance from different perspectives. The events have engaged senior professionals from the public and private sectors and civil society, detailing their experiences and the challenges and opportunities that such a career presents.

Joining Instructions 

The event is in-person only, and will take place at RUSI, 61 Whitehall, London, SW1A 2ET. Both the panel discussion and the subsequent Q&A will be on the record.  

A drinks reception will be held from 18:00 to 19:00.
