Overview

This is an unprecedented year for elections, with 2 billion people in 64 countries expected at the ballot box.

But how might an election in the UK or the US, Bangladesh or Belize, Taiwan or Turkey, impact regional and international geopolitical relations? What is the role of information and disinformation dissemination in 21st century elections? And what might ballots mean for nations without meaningful democratic participation?

Join us for an online panel discussion on the implications of this landmark year in global democracy. NextGen members* will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to an expert RUSI panel with knowledge of the key regions.
